Starting at about 7:00 PM every Thursday evening, a group of local musicians gather in the Occidental Saloon and wow their audience with some of the best Bluegrass, Western and Folk music in the land. The event started with a very humble beginning in 2006 and has now grown into a hugely popular local event. Not only does the Jam showcase local talent, it is often a venue for other skilled musicians who may “just be passing through” and are welcomed to “sit in.” The Jam is always open to the public and there is never a cover charge.
