On the 4th Thursday of every month, we hold an open class where we teach Bluegrass songs.  Everyone’s invited!  $5 donation at the door is requested. You should already know the basics of your instrument — simple chords, how to strum, pluck, pick or bow it.  We provide printed materials, including chord charts, tablature, lyrics, and music stands. You’ll also get links to recordings that you can practice at home with. Expert instructors will help you learn leads, rhythm techniques, harmony singing, and the most important skills of all, the “Ten Jammandments!”.  First half of the class is instruction, and the second half we just JAM on the tunes we’ve learned.

This is a LEARNING JAM CLASS! Your chance to DO THIS!  All’s you have to do is already know how to play your instrument and SHOW UP each month. We’re teaching easy traditional tunes, their melodies, licks, ‘break’ strategy, choppin, and how to ‘feel’ that special Bluegrass nuance!
